VOICES: Juried Online Exhibition
Juried By: DJ E-Clyps and Lyndy Bazile
Artlink is pleased to present VOICES, a juried online exhibition coinciding with the in-person exhibition by DJ E-Clyps under the same title. This exhibition was juried by DJ E-Clyps & Lyndy Bazile and was open internationally to BIPOC artists whose focuses include personal perspectives on our current social crisis and/or empowerment of Black voices. Featured artists include Sierah Barnhart, Keisha-Gaye Anderson, Joseph Ijoyemi, Linda Tien, Labdhi Shah, and Andrea Bottin.
Juror statement by Lyndy Bazile
“I want to extend my gratitude to DJ E-Clyps for inviting me to jury and to Artlink for providing the platform to share VOICES with the world. The submissions we received for the show offer personal perspectives of BIPOC artists in response to the culmination of racial injustice that we witnessed in 2020. We received powerful submissions from around the world and it was an amazing experience to help choose the 16 pieces that comprise this show.”
