Verdure is a solo exhibition by Lauren Gerig that will feature a series of paintings exploring the idea of space by merging present experience with past landscapes traversed. Embedded in the layers are subtle, poetic marks and dense swaths of paint where imagery is at times simultaneously poignant and ambiguous.

In the Wild is an exhibition exploring the endless beauty and intricacies of nature. Juried by Ellen Mensch, any visual art related to the natural world was eligible. Whether a direct depiction, an abstraction inspired by nature, or a work made directly from natural elements or found objects.

Sticking Together

We live in a time of fragmentation, socially and personally. Many artists respond to this fragmentation through the surprising combination of elements that already exist in the world. Collage, assemblage, photomontage, quilting, installation, and ad hoc applications of mixed media are inherently suited to paradox, multiple viewpoints, and plurality, serving up aesthetic harmony to help us make sense out of the chaos.
