The One & the Many
Much like life, a tapestry is woven thread upon thread, becoming an intricate web of moments and paths that connect and depend on one another to shape meaning. “The One and the Many” binds together the work of four artists from across the United States, each with their own unique fiber practice. This exhibition reflects their shared experiences as mothers and caregivers, inspired by the intricate balance between individuality and community. The viewer is invited to reflect on the interconnectedness of care in their personal lives and society at large. Though each thread contains significance, it is together that they create, hold, and are held.
