Secret Belgian Bookbinding

This 6 hour workshop will teach you the basics of book binding materials and tools. You will learn how to create a cover, fold signatures and stitch a sketchbook together using a combination of two stitch types. You will leave with black journal, perfect to write in, sketch in, or give as a gift. All materials will be provided and all skill sets are welcome.  Ages: 18 and up 

About the Instructor

Hannah Burnworth is the artist behind Milk House Studio. Burnworth has degrees in both art education and studio art. She has been teaching in both public schools and through private workshops for 14 years. In addition to teaching, Burworth loves to create all things paper. Her handmade books, collage, and paper works celebrate creativity and design, bringing together a love for texture, color, nature and the beauty of everyday life. Burworth has shown her work regionally and nationally.
