Simple Long Stitch Journal

In this 2.5-hour workshop, participants will learn to build a book cover from scratch, fold signatures, and use a simple long stitch to create a small journal. These journals are perfect to travel with, write in, sketch in, or give as a gift. All skill levels are welcome and all supplies are included. Ages: 18 and up.
About the Instructor
Hannah Burnworth is the artist behind Milk House Studio. Burnworth has degrees in both art education and studio art. She has been teaching in both public schools and through private workshops for 14 years. In addition to teaching, Burworth loves to create all things paper. Her handmade books, collage, and paper works celebrate creativity and design, bringing together a love for texture, color, nature and the beauty of everyday life. Burworth has shown her work regionally and nationally.
